McKenna Snyder LLC provides counsel in the areas of environmental Superfund and toxic tort litigation, including “class action” lawsuits. We have represented both insured and self-insured clients in administrative and civil litigation regarding enforcement actions by PADER, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and with regard to remediation cost responsibility for multi-party Superfund and NJ Spill Act sites. We also administer claims and provide analysis regarding environmental insurance coverage and allocation, as well as environmental liability in the context of corporate successions, dissolution, contractual assumptions and bankruptcy.
Kevin M. McKenna served as Liaison Counsel for generator groups in toxic tort and landfill actions and has served on the Technical, Steering and Allocation Committees of sites in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York involving site remediation and multi-party allocations. The Firm has represented clients in CERCLA §§107 and 113 cost-recovery actions involving toxic industrial chemicals including benzene, xylene, chlorinated solvents, detergents, metals and other volatile organic chemicals at sites with soils and groundwater contamination. We have also assisted companies in coordinating environmental audits.
The Firm represented a Pennsauken, New Jersey manufacturing defendant for the Harris v. Advanced Supply Process, et. al. litigation which involved a high-profile, mass tort class action litigation concerning personal injury and medical monitoring claims for the residents of the City of Camden, New Jersey.
