
Keenan E. Lorenz is an Associate at McKenna Snyder LLC, where he concentrates his practice in education law, administrative law, and public-sector litigation. He represents charter schools and public-sector clients in matters involving Pennsylvania education law, regulatory compliance, and disputes before state agencies and courts. Mr. Lorenz regularly appears before Pennsylvania trial courts and the Commonwealth Court, handling hearings, emergency applications, and appellate matters. He advises clients on statutory interpretation, agency oversight, and litigation strategy, and drafts pleadings, dispositive motions, and administrative filings in complex regulatory and constitutional matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lorenz spent more than a decade with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, where he served as a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Business & Licensing and State Services sections. In that role, he led enforcement actions, represented regulatory boards and commissions, and served as appellate counsel in state and federal courts. His work included high-stakes regulatory litigation, licensing and rulemaking matters, and appeals involving Medicaid eligibility, child support, and administrative enforcement.
Mr. Lorenz is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Colorado. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he served as General Editor of the Denver University Law Review, and his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University.
